1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FundGenius website and tools provided by FundGenius Ltd (Company No. 14921847), registered at 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5AB (“FundGenius”, “we”, “us”).

By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. What FundGenius provides

FundGenius is an AI-powered grant search and application tool that helps UK businesses:

• Discover UK and European grants they may be eligible for.
• Draft and develop grant application content using AI assistance.
• Track live grant deadlines and funding opportunities.

FundGenius does not submit grant applications on your behalf. All submissions to funders are made directly by you through the relevant funder’s own portal or process. We are a software tool, not a grant writing agency.

3. No guarantee of funding

Grant funding decisions are made entirely by the relevant funding bodies (e.g. Innovate UK, European Commission, DASA). FundGenius makes no representation or warranty that using our tools will result in a successful grant application or any award of funding. Eligibility assessments provided by our tool are indicative only and should not be relied upon as definitive guidance.

4. Accuracy of grant information

We update our grant database daily and take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy. However, grant programmes can change at short notice. You are responsible for verifying current deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application requirements directly with the funding body before applying. FundGenius accepts no liability for losses arising from reliance on information that has since changed.

5. Your responsibilities

When using FundGenius you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your business and projects.
• Use our tools only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our platform or data.
• Ensure any application content you submit to funders is accurate and truthful — AI-generated drafts are a starting point and must be reviewed and owned by you.

6. AI-generated content

Our tools use AI to generate draft application text. This content is provided as a writing aid only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before use. FundGenius accepts no liability for inaccuracies, omissions, or issues arising from AI-generated content that you submit to a funder.

7. Intellectual property

The FundGenius platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by FundGenius Ltd and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without written permission. Content you create using our tools (e.g. your application drafts) remains yours.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FundGenius shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our platform, including missed grant deadlines, unsuccessful applications, or reliance on grant information provided. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed £100.

9. Availability

We aim to keep FundGenius available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via a notice on the website.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
